ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES

The school is divided into four houses for all academic, cultural and physical activities. Inter- house competitions are organized to improve the four aspects of an all round education namely studies, sports, games, and expression through co-curricular activities and character training. Rewards are treated as best incentives to good discipline and good behavior and the house system provide the right kind of healthy competition essential for control and discipline. The school operates a house system through captains and prefects and believes in delegating responsibilities to the children as far as possible. The school believes that it is only by giving children authority that it is also giving responsibility; that only by giving responsibility can enable them to exercise initiative and enthusiasm . Once a child is admitted into the school, requests /excuses for exemption from any of the activities is not to be appreciated. It should be a matter of pride that your ward has been considered capable of performing an activity. We expect our students to take pride in their capabilities.

SUPW (Social, Useful and Productive Work)

Paper work, Tailoring Clay Modeling First Aid, Doll Making, Cleanness and Hygiene, Knitting, Wood work, Candle making, Gardening, Embroidery, Crochet, Camera, Club, Social work.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

(Activities are compulsory for all students) Dancing, Panting, Dramatics, essay competition, Recitation, Debating, Elocution, Music (instrumental- flute, mouth organ, sitar, piano, guitar, violin, mandolin, harmonium, complete orchestra). EXCURSION AND FIELD VISITS Students of all classes will be taken out for educational excursion and organized visits to places of historical value and / of relevant places of classroom learning.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES

Excursions, Swimming, Martial Arts, Athletics, Outdoor games, Basket ball, Badminton, Table-tennis, Indoor games; Carom Board, Chess. It is compulsory for every student, unless otherwise advised by the doctor, to take part in daily exercise and learn to play organized sports and games.

VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Computers: Nursery to class X. A Computer has been set-up for students to learn and familiarize themselves with computers and internet.
